Before you ask for a quote, decide

• New cage, full rescreen, panel repair or structural repair?
• Approximate size and roof style of your enclosure, if you know them.
• Mesh preference, if any: standard, No-See-Um, stronger mesh, or privacy/shade mesh.
• Whether permits and HOA approval are needed, and who should handle them.

Questions to ask every company

1. What is your license number, and can I verify it with Florida DBPR?
2. Is this a new cage, a full rescreen, or panel/frame repair — and what exactly is included?
3. Which mesh, frame and fasteners are quoted, and what are the alternatives?
4. Who handles permits, engineering and HOA approval, and what do they cost?
5. What do the product and labor warranties cover, for how long, and do they transfer?
6. Who installs the work — your own crew or subcontractors — and what is the timeline?
